I think you do a fine job combining the digital elements and I think they work very well with this piece.
You do fine with building colors, at least I know I have seen pieces of your work that you built colors. I think it has to do with what medium you are working with. Crayon doesn't blend all that well...I would like to put some oil pastels and some turpentine or similar thinner and see what you come up with.
In fact I would like to see...Pinocchio VS The Blue Monkey. I will have to commission that or something similar when I get some more loot.

I have to be a paid member to give a Critique on this artwork.
So I am not allowed to say that over all I like the piece. The digital portion of this work is well done and marries well with the rest of the piece.
As a general rule I prefer the Tokka creations that have less computer in them because I like the raw work.
Not always.

I would like to see more exploration of built colors if that makes sense.

But wait I didn't just say any of that ... this is not a critique.

Building of colours has always been so challenging to me. I may need to talk to Rob or someone about this. Get a "Crash Course"

I always "TRY " to build colours, but i think i'm really just faking it. Hard core.

The digital elements, i am never sure about anymore.

I hope i am using them well enough to at least not "HIDE" the raw parts of the work.

This one, though i did want some digital elements to help explain the narrative as a whole.
